Welcome to the Schedule for the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Working Groups Meeting in The Hague, The Netherlands, Oct. 19-21, 2016.
The initial discovery session will cover less technical aspects of "discovery" for the first 45 minutes (1:30-2:15), followed by a more in-depth technical discussion (2:15-3:30). However, the less technical discussion can break off into Room D at 2:15 to continue the discussion if needed.
If you are interested in working to review and organize documentation, Awesome IIIF, presentations, slides, and training materials, this brief meeting will allow for a quick check in and planning for ad hoc breakouts in the remaining "Room D" time slots.
Draft a standard curriculum that includes specific modules for specific audiences, identify "core competencies" for each audience and action plan for creating and disseminating training material
Update guidance/messaging on “how to get started with IIIF” for institutions looking to make their assets IIIF compatible. Build a primer - for example, we already have the "Quick Start Guide" but what additional info might be needed? (This discussion will likely carry over into the Museums Interest Group meeting on Friday, but is not museum-specific)
